Mauli Foundation recognized and felicitated Women Safai Karamcharis/Sanitation workers by giving saris and thanking them for their efforts. Also felicitated our own village giril Nisha Patil who received the Bravery Award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 23.

Mauli Foundation recognized and felicitated Women Safai Karamcharis/Sanitation workers by giving saris and thanking them for their efforts. Also felicitated our own village giril Nisha Patil who received the Bravery Award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 23.
She is the only one from the state and among 25 children shortlisted from across the country to receive this award. She received this award for saving a life of a six-month-old infant Purvi who was trapped inside a room which was on fire on January 14, 2015. Nisha is a 12th standard student and was on her way back from college when she saw the house on fire and jumped into the fire save the child. "She was on her way back from college and that's when she saw smoke coming out from her neighbouring house and showed immense courage and alertness. She jumped inside the house and got the baby out. We salute to your Bravery Nisha a Bhadgaon girl.
